Edwards, Colorado – As of February 1, 2017, local Italian restaurant Café Milano will no longer be serving their upscale dinner menu. Instead, they are focusing on breakfast and lunch and will add a pub menu consisting of old favorites like the Philly cheesesteak and new additions including house-made quesadillas, mini crab cakes, and assorted hor’dourves.
Known for their Classic American Breakfast, Cafe Milano will be altering their hours. Starting February 1, the restaurant will be open 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. seven days a week and there will no longer be a gap between hours of operation. Breakfast will be served from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., the lunch menu will be available from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., and the pub menu will be served from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Café Milano will be partnering with local meal preparation and catering business Rustic Farm to Fork, which is owned and operated by longtime Vail Valley locals Chelsea Dickens and Vincent Cisneros. Rustic Farm to Fork will offer homemade meals that can be ordered and picked up at Café Milano between 8 a.m. and 9 p.m. Menu items include breakfast burritos, lasagnas, and a variety of vegetarian and meat dishes. All menu options can either be made to enjoy immediately or ready for the oven.
“We are thrilled to be partnering with Café Milano and excited to have a convenient place where people can go in and purchase Rustic Farm to Fork items,” said Dickens. “I’m excited to share my love of food and entertaining by providing affordable and delicious options for a home cooked meal without the hassle of grocery shopping, preparation, and time spent in the kitchen.”
Adds Cisneros, “The most exciting part for me is the opportunity to provide a unique and much needed service for the busy and hardworking lifestyles of our locals and their families.”
For those looking for a place to host an event, Café Milano and Rustic Farm to Fork offer private dining options for all types of occasions including business meetings, birthdays, showers, and dinner parties.
“Over the last three years I’ve watched the trends regarding what our customers are looking for and this new partnership is going to satisfy those requests,” said Café Milano owner Pete Skarupa. “Rustic Farm to Fork adds a whole new dynamic to Café Milano and we’re excited to be part of something innovative.”
